Online information event on the initiative "Educational Innovation Needs Educational Research"

The initiative "Bildungsinnovation braucht Bildungsforschung" (Educational Innovation Requires Educational Research) is intended to establish research cooperation between universities and universities of teacher education, intensify educational research by supporting doctoral students, and build an internationally oriented research community. The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) is providing 8 million euros for a period of three years. In addition, the Innovation Foundation for Education (Innovationstiftung für Bildung) is funding activities and measures to build a "research community" with 800,000 euros.

The OeAD is organizing a virtual information event for eligible universities (UG 2002) and public and private universities of teacher education (HG 2005, BMBWF funded) prior to the start of the call.

All information as well as the call documents will be published on the OeAD website soon. Personal counseling sessions will also be offered starting in September 2022.
