This year's Citizen Science Forum will take place under the motto "Global - Regional - Local: with Citizen Science for the UN Sustainable Development Goals". With the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the United Nations aims to eradicate poverty, advance gender equality, improve health care and counter climate change by the end of 2030. The conference will discuss the following questions: How can we as a society strengthen these goals with the help of Citizen Science projects? What contributions has Citizen Science made so far in shaping and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals?
Programme
On the day before the conference, 11 May 2022, thematic tours of the botanical gardens of the University of Bonn and a joint dinner will be offered.
The conference will be opened on 12 May 2022 by the Vice Rector of the United Nations University Prof. Dr. Xiaomeng Shen with a keynote address on "Everything is Interaction" - Science, Society and Citizen Science".
On the two days of the conference (12-13 May), numerous lectures and workshops will be offered. The Market of Opportunities invites participants to get to know projects and initiatives at posters and stands and to exchange ideas with those responsible.

The conference fee is 130 euros. Registration deadline is 29 April 2022.
