De-registration of your place of residence
Before departure please de-register your place of residence at the registration office.
Deadline Cancellation deadlines:
Cancellation of the registration: between 3 days before and 3 days after moving out.
For de-registration you need
• your valid ID card or passport,
• a completed residence de-registration form (Meldezettel/Guide for filling in the Meldezettel) and
• your birth certificate.
You will find the address of the competent registration office on the website of your Regional Office.
