Topics and developments
Together with higher education institutions and with national, European and international stakeholders the OeAD closely monitors trends and developments in the field. We are active in e.g.
- questions of quality in internationalisation,
- recognition of academic achievements abroad,
- thematic priorities such as internationalisation in STEM subjects,
- inclusion and diversity in internationalisation,
- digitisation in internationalisation and the further development of digital and blended mobility formats,
green internationalisation, - democratic participation and academic freedom,
- European objectives, e.g. those set down in the European Strategy for Universities,
- European University Alliances (European higher education institutions),
- the European Degree,
- responsible internationalisation / foreign interference / trusted research
The OeAD provides platforms, support services and points of contact for these and other key topics. These are reflected in specific funding schemes or in events and thematic initiatives about which we provide ongoing information on our website.
