Students and researchers from all over the world who studied, carried out research or worked in Austria with an OeAD scholarship are the target group of our alumni activities. Many former scholarship holders still have fond memories of their stay in Austria many years later and act as multipliers, contact persons and cooperation partners.

It is important to us to stay in touch with our alumni after the end of their scholarship stay and/or their return to their home countries. Through the services listed below we inform about current calls and funding opportunities and support our alumni in networking activities and establishing scientific cooperation projects between Austria and their countries of origin.

Alumni Activities

Our Alumni News Portal features articles from former OeAD scholars who present themselves and their research projects as well as reflect on their impressions, experiences and challenges during their research stay. Are you a former OeAD scholar? Please send your portrait!

Alumni Talks

At our Alumni Talks, former OeAD scholars present and talk about their personal and professional experiences during and after their scholarship-supported stay in Austria. We usually publish an article with photos from the talk on our website shortly after.
