Calls for proposals

The third call for proposals for “Sparkling Science 2.0” opens on 1 September 2026 and remains open until 30 October 2026. This research funding programme will once again place a strong emphasis on supporting projects in which research and educational institutions – and, where possible, partners from industry and society – collaborate to generate new research findings. Project proposals can be submitted from 1 September at 8:00 a.m. via the OeAD’s online submission platform. All relevant tender documents will be made available on 1 August. 

Please save the dates for our online information sessions: On 2 September 2026, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 24 September 2026, 3:00 p.m to 4:30 p.m. we will provide information about the call for proposals and answer your questions. The information session will be held in German.
