The projects and participants

The topics of the projects range from multilingualism and inclusion to technical assistance systems, energy efficiency and biodiversity. There is also a wide variety of participants: The citizen science projects are led by 18 scientific institutions. They involve 120 schools - 19 partner schools are participating for the first time - and cooperate with 56 partners from science and 32 partners from business and society in Austria. The number of citizen scientists to be involved over the next three years is also impressive: About 42,000 students and about 30,000 other participants are expected to be reached during the project period.

Presentation of the citizen science projects

All projects are presented on the website www.sparklingscience.at. In addition to key data, interested parties can also find detailed project descriptions there. In addition, a brochure was produced in May 2023 in which all 34 projects are presented in German (see "More info" on the right).
