In the cities the shops as a rule are open from Mondays to Fridays 9.00-18.00, on Saturdays 9.00-12.00, some also until 17.00. Some shops close for lunch (12-14). Grocery shops often open before 8 o’clock and close at 19.00. In the big tourist centres the shops are also open on weekends. Grocery shops at larger train stations are also open on public holdays. Banks are usually open from Mondays to Fridays 8-15.
