Events4scholars: First Christmas party at the OeAD House after a two-year break

Every year, the events4scholars team organizes a Christmas party for incoming scholarship holders to share Christmas traditions in different countries and to end the year together. All scholarship holders from Vienna were invited and almost 70 people from 16 different countries accepted the invitation. 

After enjoying a non-alcoholic orange punch with gingerbread, the first presentations started. 

Some students were happy to present the customs of their home countries and brought delicious food, dances and songs. Through short presentations, the guests learned about Christmas traditions from Albania, Indonesia and Ukraine. The student from Indonesia brought a fun dance to liven things up, which everyone enjoyed trying out. 

Afterwards, the food from the different regions was presented and Deewan catering was served. 

The students enjoyed the personal contact, the conversations and the food, and are already looking forward to the next events to get to know each other and exchange ideas.
