Austrian-Albanian vocational training cooperation

The OeAD supports the implementation of vocational training reforms in Albania with a focus on tourism and hospitality as well as IT on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF).

On the occasion of a visit to Albania on 3 and 4 November 2022 the federal minister Martin Polaschek exchanged views on the long-standing vocational education and training cooperation within the framework of OeAD projects and activities of the OeAD Cooperation Office in Tirana with the Albanian deputy minister of finance and economy, Olta Manjani, who is responsible for vocational education and training. In a discussion with the federal minister Polaschek and the deputy minister Manjani pupils from the Tourism School Tirana explained what expectations they have of a good education in tourism and hospitality and their plans for the future.
