The #ErasmusDays will take place for the fifth time on 14, 15 and 16 October 2021. The initiative was launched as part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Erasmus+ and has since been very popular across the EU – and even beyond.
The aim of #ErasmusDays is to raise awareness of the Erasmus+ programme and make the achievements of the European Union known to the broad public. By means of different activities of the institutions and the sharing of positive experiences of participants the Erasmus+ community aims to reach many people and inspire them with the European idea.
This year numerous institutions all over Europe will take part in #ErasmusDays. In Austria some 120 activities will take place throughout the country this year to celebrate the Erasmus+ programme in all federal provinces.
Erasmus+ and ESC ambassadors distinguished
This year the Austrian Erasmus+ and ESC ambassadors will be distinguished on the occasion of #ErasmusDays for the first time. The ambassadors are people who contribute significantly to the success of the European programmes through their personal commitment and dedication and are thus role models of practised internationality.
In addition to the five ambassadors in the fields of vocational education and training, adult education, higher education, youth, and school education there will also be an ESC ambassador for the first time in 2021.
