It is a great honour for us to work with you: In all the years that we have worked together you have corroborated your impeccable reputation as a cooperation partner, with your experts always responding quickly and effectively to our requests and needs in the field of education.
Over the decades of our partnership more than 15 projects have been implemented in the Odessa region, involving more than 200 institutions and more than 5,000 teachers. Each of these projects has promoted the development of professional as well as personal skills of trainers, independent and creative work of pupils and contributed to a sense of achievement for each individual. The Austrian-Ukrainian projects involve not only individual teachers but also teams from different schools, individual educational institutions and inclusive resource centres of the Odessa region.
The cooperation within the framework of the Austrian-Ukrainian agreement in the field of further education for teachers is based on European experiences in the fields of methodology, science, organisation, and technology and it is continuously adapted to current needs. Ukraine's European integration also has an impact on the area of continuing education of teachers, whose professional development is ensured by means of a wide variety of flexible forms and types of teaching. At numerous Austrian-Ukrainian conferences that took place within the framework of our projects important questions of the development of national education were discussed and the results were subsequently set down in writing in two anthologies.
We greatly appreciate your multifaceted and intensive support, especially in developing and conveying good pedagogical practices that contribute to the innovative and sustainable development of our region. Here, we would like to particularly express our gratitude for your support in addressing educational challenges in connexion with the project of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education, “New Ukrainian School”.
