HERAS selection board grants scholarships to 4 PhD and 5 PostDoc candidates

The meeting was prepared by the consortium member, Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education, and Research (OeAD), whereas the selection board was composed of representatives of Austrian Development Agency (Chairperson of the Selection Board), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Republic of Kosovo (MEST) and World University Service (WUS) Austria. The board reviewed all 18 applications and decided to grant scholarships to 9 candidates out of which, 4 PhD and 5 PostDoc. Noteworthy, the call for the scholarship was available from 21st April until 5 June 2017 and before the selection board brought their decision, the applications were reviewed by two independent experts. The board also decided to go for a second call for scholarships which will be published in autumn 2017. New applicants and also rejected applicants from the first call who can show additional documents will have the possibility for an application.
