With the successor programme Sparkling Science 2.0, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) is setting a new focus on funding projects in which research and educational institutions and, as far as possible, civil society also cooperate and jointly contribute to the generation of innovative research results.
The call for proposals is expected to start at the beginning of September 2021, and the projects themselves can start in the school year 2022/23.
