Prospective students face various challenges when deciding on a university degree programme. They have to choose the right degree programme that suits their personal aptitude at the right higher education institution. Students have to adjust to a new stage in their lives. In this dialogue on higher education teaching the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) and the OeAD invited relevant stakeholders from different higher education sectors to exchange experiences and to do networking. The focus was on organising a successful transition to higher education and the first phase of studies. Students should be given the confidence to make the right study choices and thus lay a solid foundation for successful study.
This event was organised by the OeAD together with the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) with funding from the project "3-IN-AT-PLUS INterconnection/INnovation/INclusion: Austrian contributions to the EHEA 2030“ (Key Action 3 of the Erasmus+ programme) and took place with the kind support of Graz University of Technology. It was funded by the European Union.
