On September 20th, 2023, the Joint Committee of the Ministers of the fifteen CEEPUS member countries met in Warsaw, Poland, to sign the new CEEPUS IV agreement. The new agreement will extend the CEEPUS by an additional seven years, from 2025 to 2032. This extension will allow our CEEPUS networks to further foster academic exchange.

CEEPUS is the first cooperation program of Central European countries in the field of education and research based on a multilateral international agreement. The programme enables the intensification of contacts between higher education institutions from 15 member countries by offering mobility scholarships and is based on a cooperative approach in which the international mobility of students and teaching and research staff of accredited universities from CEEPUS member countries takes place.

The 2-day conference in Warsaw included the 23rd Meeting of the Joint Committee of CEEPUS Ministers, the 26th CEEPUS III National Offices Evaluation Meeting (CEEPUS General Evaluation Meeting), the CEEPUS III Senior Officials´ Meeting as well as the award ceremony for the Ministers Price Winners of 2021, 2022 and 2023.

We congratulate the CEEPUS member countries for continuing the fostering of academic exchange.
