“As President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences at the time he supported e.g. scientific exchange between young Austrian and Chinese researchers in the field of quantum communication. Zeilinger moreover emphasised the importance of dialogue between science and society early on – including at the launch event of Sparkling Science, the internationally renowned research programme for young people.”
