We are deeply shocked to hear about the violence against peaceful student protesters at our partner University, Sharif University, and other Universities in the country. In our academic and humanitarian understanding we strongly are in opposition to all breaches of human rights and acts of violence.
We stand in solidarity with our colleagues at Sharif University, with all Iranian students, faculty, staff, alumni and citizens.“

The ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) supports the exchange of knowledge between partner universities in Europe and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) as well as Iran* and Pakistan* (*associate members). The network’s main activity is the organisation and financial support of transcontinental exchange of (prospective) scientists and the associated transfer of knowledge.
