Only a few days left to submit essays on science skepticism

The Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) is inviting entries for a prize question that focuses on the low level of trust among Austrians in comparison to the rest of Europe. This includes both the question of why the pronounced skepticism of science and the question of how trust in science and research can be strengthened. A total of 24,000 euros is available for the three best submissions.

Essays can be submitted in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian. Participation is open to people from all over the world, with or without a scientific background. There is no limit of characters for the texts.
