The AKTION Austria – Czech Republic awards scholarships for stays in the Czech Republic to prepare theses, dissertations or post-doctoral theses as well as scholarships to attend summer schools and scholarships for research or teaching stays for lecturers at higher education institutions.
Moreover, degree-programme students, scientific staff (Austria) and academics (Czech Republic) will be supported within the framework of projects. The focus of funding is on activities that concern topics of bilateral and regional interest in current developments and/or future development scenarios of both countries and/or their historical roots.
Scholarships
The AKTION Austria – Czech Republic awards scholarships for stays of up to 5 months at Czech higher education institutions in the summer semester 2023 to prepare theses, dissertations or post-doctoral theses (closing date for applications: 31 October 2022). Moreover, the AKTION offers scholarships for research or teaching stays for lecturers at higher education institutions (closing date for applications: 30 November 2022).

Projects
Austrian-Czech projects to be carried out between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023 can be submitted to the AKTION Austria – Czech Republic until 31 October 2022.
