The project "CitSci4All" actively involves deaf and hard of hearing people in climate change research.
1 min read · 17. June 2022

The project name "CitSci4All" stands for "Social inclusion and participation of Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults in Citizen Science for Climate Change". The aim of the project is to involve the target group of people with hearing disabilities, which has been difficult or almost impossible to reach so far, in climate change research. The initiators see the use of Citizen Science as a means for social and environmental justice with a direct impact on people's living conditions. Citizen Science accordingly represents an opportunity for equal participation in social life.

CitSci4All runs until January 2024 and is co-funded by the ERASMUS+ program of the European Union.
