The OeAD participates with EURAXESS Austria in the EURAXESS Hubs project in the task "Gender - overview, learning and sharing". The goal of EURAXESS Hubs is to integrate platforms for thematic cross-border collaboration of EURAXESS service centres (ESCs) and other stakeholders, such as multiplier and enabler organisations outside of the EURAXESS network. This is done by engaging and providing services to researchers, research organisations and other ESCs.
Together with its partners from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, The Icelandic Centre for Research, University of Gothenburg, Sweden it has now launched an overview on “Gender Equality Plans”, listing the most important documents, guides, and best practices on the topic. Institutions can take advantage of this platform for drafting and implementing a gender equality plan, which has become mandatory for any proposals in Horizon Europe. The information is accessible on the European Commission’s EURAXESS portal.
