To give prospective doctors an insight into the family doctor's work and show the attractiveness of this profession, the MedUni Vienna launched the General Medicine Excellence Program for students as part of the practical clinical year. It has developed into a success story. More and more students are already gaining their first experience in general practitioner practices during their studies. For the first time, all available training positions have been taken.
