Copernicus: putting Europe's satellite data to work on our own climate research

27. October 2021 Citizen Science
On November 13, 2021, the Knowledge Transfer Center East is organizing an event on Open Science and Climate.

The satellite-based European Earth Observation System "Copernicus" makes global data openly available in near real-time. The data provided by Copernicus can also help monitor climate change. During the event, which consists of a webinar and a workshop, participants will gain insight into Copernicus and the possible applications of the freely available data.

The event is organized as part of the Knowledge Transfer Center East (funded by AWS) in cooperation with Austria in Space (funded by the Federal Ministry of Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology). The event will take place online from 12:30 - 15:30.
