With the beginning of the new winter termin 2021, the University of Vienna opened the new biology building. It houses large parts of the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Center for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science at the University of Vienna. When planning the biology centre, attention was paid to designing a climate-friendly university and research building.
