As one of five international universities, the FH Burgenland will focus intensively on sustainable start-up funding and entrepreneurship over the next few years.

As part of a funding program (Horizon Europe) endowed with 1.2 million euros, teaching materials are created that are intended to inspire innovative projects and provide the innovators of tomorrow with the right know-how. The lead partner is the Arctic University of Norway; other partners are the University of Alicante (Spain), the Technical University of Varna (Bulgaria), the University of Edinburgh (UK) and the Slovak company G-Force. At the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, the Departments of Economics and Energy Environment are involved.
