With Experimental Game Cultures and Expanded Museum Studies, the Applied Department is facing the urgent debate within these subject areas. The Master’s degree in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies / Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy, and Global Challenges complements the Bachelor’s degree that was successfully launched in the 2017/18 academic year. All three new courses start in the coming academic year - October 2021 -, conclude with the academic degree Master of Arts (MA) and have a minimum duration of four semesters (120 ECTS credit points). For admission to the three courses - as for all courses at an Austrian art university - the successful completion of an application process is necessary.
