Culture:Education

Start of the most comprehensive cultural education programme with schools in Austria.

As of the school year 2021/22 the OeAD will offer the most comprehensive cultural education programme with schools across Austria with a new initiative called “Culture:Education”. Artists of all art disciplines will work with pupils in projects in a stimulating and participatory way within the framework of lessons – both at school and outside school. The programmes “School Culture Budget for Federal Schools” and “Dialogue Events” will merge into this initiative. The acquisition of skills by the pupils through cultural education processes will becomes more central.
