The UAS Technikum Wien and the UAS Carinthia started a joint information technology bachelor's degree last year. The first year of study takes place in Vienna, the other two years up to graduation, including an internship, are completed in Carinthia. Both Carinthian students who would like to study in Vienna for a year and those from the greater Vienna area who want to benefit from the excellent job opportunities in Carinthia are addressed.
The "Information Technologies - Joint Degree" bachelor's degree combines content from the "Computer Science" bachelor's degree at UAS Technikum Wien and from the "Information Technologies" bachelor's degree at Carinthia UAS to form a joint study program for the two universities of applied sciences. The bachelor's degree comprises six semesters, with the first two semesters at the UAS Technikum Wien and the following semesters at the UAS Carinthia.
