Thursday, 29 April 2021, 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. CEST (Vienna time)
This webinar for OeAD alumni will introduce Erasmus+ the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport. The following instruments, that also address academic and administrative staff of HEI institutions in Africa, Asia and Latin America, will be presented.
In addition to the traditional Erasmus+ action, Erasmus+ International Mobility (KA107 + KA171) offers the opportunity for Higher Education Institutions (HEI) to send students and staff abroad to so called partner countries generally outside of the European Union to study, teach, or train at participating institutions, as well as to participate in a traineeship.
The action Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) supports, on the one hand, prestigious, integrated study programmes, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions and, on the other hand, students from all over the world with full-time scholarships for participating in these EMJM.
The Jean Monnet Activities are designed to promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies worldwide. The action Capacity Building in Higher Education supports the modernisation, accessibility and internationalisation of higher education in partner countries.
Detailed information on these opportunities, including eligibility criteria, is available in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. The OeAD has been designated as the national agency for implementing and administering the education component of Erasmus+ in Austria.
