Prospects for the development of vocational education and training in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On behalf of the Ministry of Civil Affairs the OeAD accompanied relevant stakeholders from all 13 ministries of education responsible for vocational education and training, administrative authorities, schools, social partners, and representatives of the business community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in a broad consultation process in the development of a nationwide strategy for the development of quality and relevance of vocational education and training systems.

The reference framework for the broad consultation process was the decisions of Riga at EU level. At the end of January this strategic document was adopted in the Council of Education Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will thus become the basis for the development of vocational education and training in all parts of the country.
