OeAD Grants for Outgoing Doctoral Students

The OeAD offers Doctoral Fellowships for students of Austrian universities (Application Deadline February 1st)

The Marietta Blau-Grant supports doctoral/PhD students of Austrian universities and funds study periods abroad (6-12 moths). Aimed at highly qualified doctoral/PhD students currently enrolled at an Austrian accredited university; the grant's objective is to help optimise the recipient's doctoral thesis.

The Austrian Centres offer 10-month stays for highly qualified doctoral candidates who are enrolled in a doctoral or PhD program at an Austrian University or at one of the Universities with an Austrian-Centre (study fields applicable to the focuses of the Centre for Austrian Studies at target university). Doctoral Fellowships are available at Jerusalem and New Orleans.
