APPEAR celebrates its 10th anniversary

A key aspect of the Austrian Development Cooperation’s programme, which is implemented by the OeAD, is that it is not based on one-sided knowledge transfer but on partnership on equal footing. Since 2010 43 partnerships have been established between Austrian universities or universities of applied sciences and scientific institutions in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Arab region. 126 foreign master's or PhD students have been able to study in Austria thanks to a scholarship.

To mark the anniversary the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) includes a contribution about APPEAR's success in the current issue of its "Weltnachrichten" ("World News").
