Even though Covid-19 has a decisive influence on the internationalisation agenda of the higher education institutions and international networking has to manage without physical meetings to a large extent at the moment, interest in study or research stays in Austria is still high and it is important to maintain internationality even in the corona crisis.
Under the umbrella brand "Highlight your future. Study in Austria" the OeAD therefore participates, together with other European agencies, in international specialist and higher education fairs and webinars in order to present Austria as a location for higher education with its broad spectrum of study programmes.
On September 26th Austria presented itself at the virtual higher education fair "Study in Europe 2020 | The 1st Digital Edition Singapore". Besides the OeAD three Austrian higher education institutions also presented their programmes there: The University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, the Modul Private University Vienna and the Sigmund Freud Private University.
In addition to the OeAD six Austrian higher education institutions will attend the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2020 in Manila on October 2nd and 3rd, which is also a virtual fair: the Central European University (CEU), the IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences, the Modul Private University, the University of Innsbruck, the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences and the Webster University.
