Former OeAD scholarship holder Oliver Hauser performs research on the environmental and economic imp

Alumnus Oliver Hauser, who studied physics at the University of Innsbruck between 2007 and 2010 and did his PhD in the field of Biology in Harvard, recently took part in the first Online Meeting for OeAD Alumni on July 15th 2020 and spoke about the situation around Covid-19 in the UK.

Oliver currently works as an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter and is an UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. Together with other scientists he recently published a paper on the effects of the Covid-19 outbreak on tropospheric nitrogen dioxide levels due to reduced economic activities. Read his paper here.

Between 2007 and 2010 Oliver has received a Mondi Austrian Student Scholarship financed by Mondi Packaging and administered by the OeAD.
