After a short getting to know activity particpants learned about different topics relevant for their future career.
Angelika Köpf presented the services offered by the Austrian Business Agency for internationals who aim to work and live in Austria after the termination of the OeAD scholarship.
This was followed by two workshops, that introduced two different initiatives: EUROPASS and EURAXESS. EUROPASS is the multilingual career management tool by the European Union. With a profile in the Europass portal one can easily create CVs in different languages and for different occasions, edit cover letters and find jobs in the European Union.
Another great platform for professional researchers is EURAXESS, which provides information and support services for researchers all over Europe. A database for Jobs and Funding, tools and training resources for personal career development and detailed information about living and working in Europe can be found there. Here researchers can also upload their profile and get notified when vacancies match their profile.

In the end, Grants.at, the Austrian database for scholarships and research grants, was also introduced.
The two colleagues from the OeAD, Verena Katscher from EURAXESS Austria and Alexandra Enzi from the National Europass Center expertly led the event with presentations, networking opportunities and workshops to provide valuable insights for career development. Participants had the opportunity to exchange with other scholarship holders and share their experiences in Austria. The lucky winners of the "Higher Education in Austria Quiz" also received a goody bag from EUROPASS.
The OeAD is happy to help its scholars with their start in Austria and to give them an opportunity to advance their academic and professional careers. We wish them all the best for their current semester and hope that they will take advantage of all the opportunities offered by their respective universities and the OeAD to connect and network.
