Fernando Ruiz Peyré completed his PhD in Innsbruck in 2014, supported by the North-South-Dialogue scholarship, which fostered early collaborations beyond Europe. After nearly a decade as Assistant Professor at the University Innsbruck, he is now Junior Group Leader at ÖAW’s Institute for Interdisciplinary Mountain Research.
