Citizen science initiatives were able to apply for theaccelerator program of the EU-funded project IMPETUS until mid-March. 225 applications were received, and 45 projects will be selected to receive financial and content-related support for the further development of their research and the implementation of activities.
The IMPETUS consortium is therefore looking for experienced citizen science practitioners who will be available as mentors from May 2024 to February 2025 to advise the projects. Assignment to the initiatives is based on availability, topics, and needs. The mentoring of an initiative comprises at least 15 hours and is remunerated with 900 euros per project.
Interested experts can announce their availability without obligation via this online form until April 2, 2024. Allfurther communication will be handled by the IMPETUS project members.
