• Completed university degree in humanities or cultural studies in Austria or proof of completion before starting work at the host university.
• In addition to a subject-specific degree in cultural studies or humanities training in ‘German as a foreign language’ is recommended.
• The required academic degree (Mag./MA/PhD) must have been earned no more than 7 years prior to the start of the lectureship.
• Main residence in Austria during the last two years prior to departure for the lectureship (except for participation in other government mobility programmes)
• Proficiency in German at level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the ability to teach the German language and its Austrian variety.
