The latest Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Civil Service and Sport (BMKÖS) publication deals with theoretical and practical issues surrounding the phenomenon of "audiences" and brings together 64 positions and perspectives from the Austrian arts and culture sector and academia. Ulrike Gießner-Bogner, head of the OeAD’s "Cultural Education with Schools" sector, describes in her article "Schule, Kunst und Kultur– eine Schnittstelle mit viel Potenzial" ("Schools, Art and Culture – an interface with great potential") how both children and young people and cultural institutions can learn from each other through participatory cultural education school projects.
