Every month since September 2023 - always at noon on the second Thursday of the month - two current Sparkling Science projects present themselves in a one-hour online session and talk about their experiences and lessons learned.

With the "Sparkling Science 2.0" program, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) supports citizen science projects in which pupils of all school levels as well as civil society are actively involved in the research process.

The descriptions and recordings of the first five webinars, each with two presentations, are available on the website of the OeAD Center for Citizen Science.

New dates

The series will continue from March 2024 and registration is already open for all dates up to and including June. The projects will each present their research content and goals in 15 minutes and share tips for carrying out citizen science projects.
