ECSA 2024

03. April 2024 - 06. April 2024
NHM, Universität für Bodenkultur

The conference of the European Citizen Science Association will take place from April 3 to 6 in Vienna under the motto "Change".

The Natural History Museum Vienna and the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences are organizing the event together with the team of the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA). The conference takes place every two years and is dedicated to different thematic complexes. After the theme "Planetary Health" in 2022 in Berlin, 2024 it will be themed "Change". Change can be seen as positive by one group and negative by another. Consequently, different perspectives on a particular change can lead to completely different conclusions. The goal is to address these different approaches around the topic of "Change" from a variety of perspectives in the field of Citizen Science and participatory research.

A special highlight of ECSA 2024 is that it will be held together with the annual Austrian Citizen Science Conference.

Due to high demand, tickets for onsite-participation are no longer available. Hoewever, the registration for online participation is open until March 15.
