Webinar: Potentials and challenges of social media for science communication

The next Transfer Unit digital lunchtalk will take place on 23 July from 12 to 1 pm. 

In a research overview, Katharina Christ (University of Innsbruck, Institute for German Studies), Janine N. Blessing and Markus Schug (both University of Augsburg, Institute for Media, Knowledge and Communication) have summarised current research findings on the potential and challenges of social media for science communication. The results will be presented in the lunchtalk. Lisa Niendorf (@FrauForschung) will also talk about how she uses Instagram to provide insights into everyday university life. Afterwards there will be time for questions from the audience.
