Symposium: Shaping Participation
MedUni Vienna's ‘Shaping participation’ symposium is dedicated to the future of social inclusion for children and young people with chronic illnesses. The presentations and discussions are intended to overcome the limits of conventional research and focus on those affected. Telepresence systems and school participation from an educational science perspective at European level and keywords such as ‘equalisation of disadvantages’ will be examined.
Another focus is the method of participatory research. The symposium is part of the ‘Be PART of it’ project, which is funded by the Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OEAD) and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
