Training: Opening up R&I processes: Who to engage, and How?

10. December 2024, 15:27 pm - 16:30 pm

Research and innovation processes often fail to adequately involve diverse societal actors. However, there is growing recognition that collaboration with policymakers, civil society organizations, professionals, and the public can align innovation more closely with societal needs.

This workshop explores how to effectively engage relevant target groups in research and innovation processes. Participants will learn stakeholder mapping techniques to identify and prioritize key actors. The workshop also presents strategies for inclusive engagement and practical approaches for effective collaboration throughout all stages of the innovation cycle.

The workshop is designed for researchers and professionals from start-ups, SMEs, technology transfer offices, funding bodies, and public institutions interested in fostering societal engagement.

This event is organized as part of the European project REINFORCING and will be held online via Zoom in English. It offers a dynamic, interactive format with opportunities for exchange and discussion.
