2. Reflection
My time studying in Austria was unforgettable, both academically and personally. As a Werfel Scholar, I had the opportunity to exchange ideas with other scholars, enriching my research and broadening my perspective. The intellectual atmosphere was stimulating, and I particularly enjoyed the quiet, nice places that allowed me to focus deeply on my work. Outside of academics, I took part in the Franz Werfel Scholars' meetings, which were a perfect blend of intellectual exchange and social fun. These gatherings became a highlight of my stay, offering both professional growth and personal connections. What made my stay truly memorable was the freedom to fully immerse myself in my research. Austria’s academic environment encouraged me to push beyond my initial goals and explore new ideas. The benefits of being an OeAD Alumni, including access to valuable library resources, further enhanced my research experience.
My advice to future students would be to take full advantage of your time abroad. Use it to achieve more than you originally planned.
