As part of the one-hour session on April 10, 2025 from 13:00, two exciting Sparkling Science projects will present themselves and share their objectives and experiences:
Against the backdrop of the current dramatic extinction of insects in the wake of the global biodiversity crisis, this University of Vienna project is dedicated to promoting and researching insect biodiversity in Vienna. It aims to create and research biodiversity islands for insects in the city and use them for action-oriented learning.
The project of the Institute for Conflict Research makes an innovative contribution to researching social inequalities and injustices from the everyday perspective of schoolchildren. The participatory research process of the project is based on the principles of Global Citizenship Education.
Take this opportunity to learn directly from the project teams and gain inspiration for your own projects.
