University Preparation Programmes

The University Preparation Programmes in Graz and Vienna offer German intensive courses for international applicants to prepare them for supplementary examinations prescribed to them by the universities. ONLY students who have already been admitted to study by an Austrian tertiary education institution can attend these courses. To get admitted to study prospective students have to prove a German level of at least A2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR).

The language courses offered or managed by the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) are available to Ukrainian displaced persons free of charge. For language courses attended within the framework of a University Preparation Programme students have to pay; the costs for these courses can vary. Therefore please enquire directly with the respective course providers about how much you will have to pay. They will also be able to tell you whether or not there are any financial support options.

The waiver of tuition fees for Ukrainian students does not include the costs for attending a University Preparation Programme.
