Insights into participatory research at the “OIS zam: Forum 2025”

With the forum, the LBG OIS Center will once again make innovative collaboration between research and society visible this year on October 9 and 10 and enable networking among participatory projects.

Contributions for the “OIS zam: Forum 2025” can be submitted online in two different formats until Friday, June 27, 2025:

• Poster presentation: Innovative projects between research and society present themselves to interested participants via poster presentations. Initial ideas for projects can also be presented at the forum and receive feedback from the participants.
• Thematic café: In the thematic cafés, the participants develop and discuss specific topics of cooperation between research and society in innovative workshop concepts with the organizers of the café. The topics of cooperation can be: success characteristics of participatory projects, impact of participatory projects, cooperation of scientific teams with civil society, strengthening diversity and inclusion in research and many more topics related to innovative cooperation between research and society.

The “OIS zam: Prize” will be awarded again this year: Three winning projects will be chosen from all the poster presentations presented by participant voting.

The “OIS zam: Forum” will take place this year at the ÖBB Open Innovation Factory in Vienna on October 9 and 10. Registrations are now open on the LBG OIS Center website.
