Call for Papers: Creating Knowledge - Telling Futures

In the Sparkling Science project "Es wird einmal ...", pupils at six Lower Austrian elementary school researched a regional raw material in a three-part workshop cycle. The accompanying research looked at how images and fairy tales enable a different view of the circular society and the stories of recyclable materials. The project is nearing its conclusion and is opening up its own research in a reflection workshop.

In the final symposium, which will take place on September 26 and 27, 2024 at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria, new findings and approaches to science communication and future education will be presented and discussed across projects. Abstracts for contributions and posters can be submitted until April 15, e.g. from the fields of science education, pedagogy, teaching-learning research or artistic research.
